Don’t forget William Hung

We should acknowledge that Idol has produced some characters that didn’t quite make it to the top 10. William Hung, the loveable UC Berkeley engineering student who couldn’t sing but nonetheless proved he has spunk, became a minor success after his Idol experience.

He released three CDs thanks to Idol: “Inspiration,” “Hung for the Holidays” and “Miracle: Happy Summer from William Hung.”

OK, so his audition didn’t go well. And really, he can’t sing. But he’s sure got spirit. He's even got a couple music videos now, also on YouTube.
