The American Idol spell
I talked to about a dozen people Saturday morning at Texas Stadium and no matter if they were talented or not, they all thought they had a good chance to make it to Hollywood. When some sang, I had the urge to break it to them that they didn't quite have the voice. I'm no Phil Spector (on multiple levels) or Simon Cowell, but I think I can guage talent to a certain degree.
