Apparently the secret to making it on American Idol is to show up 4 hours before the sun comes up. (Shauntoris Jones, left, of Oklahoma City was the first contestant in line.) I'm coming to Texas Stadium from the north (via I35). Traffic started to back up long before I could see the stadium. But I think I just found a shortcut: cutting through the University of Dallas.
